Thanks, should have said got live and neutral as well. It looks as though it's wired right then. is it right that the fan and pump run constantly ? other than
that it seems to work OK now.

I've got RN RI and RL connections on boiler. connected com on stat to RL and NO on stat RI.
should there be a connection to the original time clock ?

I've just tried to fit a Salus rt500rf to a Worcester 28i boiler. It is switching on but not firing unless I turn a tap on for a few seconds, when I turn the tap off the heating works fine. Any ideas please?
