Is this a standard thing the boiler should be doing? or is there possibly a problem?

Ok I have a Main Eco 80 that is relatively new and hot water and CH are fine. How ever the boiler kicks in every so often sometimes 4 to 5 times a day with the HW demand light flashing for about 30sec to a minute as the boiler fires up as though someone has turned the HW tap on. I have checked...
