Easy enough to do. Any idea what may have caused this? Or just simply that the suppressor part failed?

Carnage! White plug wrecked, was melted into the suppressor...awkard git to take out when melted together. The brown wire has burnt out. Will need a new plastic plug too!

Yep...very slight browning on the underside of the top in that area.

Thank you :) I presume the mains suppresser is the little box where the mains feed goes directly into? I'm guessing there's not much to check, just replace and hope that's the problem?

Machine cutting out when switch it on...sounds like shorting out and led's flicker randomly then eventually go off. When try to power back on, led's flicker briefly, sounds like shorting out again then off. Read an older post on here suggesting disconnect the heating element (taped up ends)...
