Thanks for the advice guys... You were right, this did come lose with a good pair of grips... Unfortunately the plastic fitting inside the plug has broken. It does now look like the whole tap will need replacing... Thanks for your help though... :)

Hope you can help. My shower hose is seized due to limescale on my mixer taps. I live in rented accomadation so I'm not feeling too confident about applying too much pressure to unscrew the nut, the landlord said he's happy for me to deal with it but do you think I should get a plumber around...
