I'm being pushed to take 12mm Porcelain for my kitchen island and work tops, we LOVE the finish its stunning but the thickness worries me.
Has anyone worked with this material in a Kitchen? im having a waterfall island, work tops and 500mm under cap splash backs.
I didn't take a picture however upon a closer inspection it appears to be some king to tile vent bolted to the inside of the loft, however I cant see anything from the ground
I don't however I just googled it and it looks the same, its pressed up against the underside of the roof ridge within the felt could it be vented within the tiles?
I recently had a single story extension and the roofer helped me out by removing an old rusty external pipe on my soil stack on the main roof, I asked him to replace it with a new one but he as in fact cut it off inside the loft, attached is a 4" black flexi duct and it appears to be capped off...
Thanks this is what I thought. I hear your point about if it ever leaked but you can have the same issue with a copper joint right? I know a sweeping bend would be best but I have a plus 3m run to get up the floor and I know joints in the floor are an even bigger no no.
No matter how hard I look I cant find any topic on this.
Here you will see a RAD flow and return speed sit with some push fit elbows. The Celotex and Screed Is about to go in up to the first breeze block. There are no joins 'below ground' There is a 37.5mm insulated plasterboard about to...
The attached image is just an example and is not my Porch but I'm wondering if this is an unfinished image? I'm being told the wood should not touch the pier but i think it does not look right? I think there should be a chamfered brick on top of the pier to hide the gap ?
Hi All,
I am having a Neff Vented Hob 'IN island' fitted later on in Nov. Currently going into a new extension. Neff supply the kit down to the floor. Currently the floor is at a piled foundation lever and I need to come up around 250mm with around 100 / 150mm Celetex then screed (builder...
That makes so much more sense.
I can now T off the upstairs bathroom hot and cold (under the sink) gun straight out of the external wall, drop down the external wall (that will be dot and dapped eventually) cold form into the floor then bring them up again where the new sink will be.
I...
I have used speed fit upstairs in the joists and its so easy id like the new dwelling to be the same but was just a little under as one its filled in I wont have access to it.
When you say radius it up do you literality mean what you say? So clip it to the wall in a nice even sweep ?
I am about to have a kitchen fitted out and I need to run Hot and Cold Water plus a couple of Rads in the new dwelling.
Currently the room is sitting on a piled foundation and it will soon need to have a 100mm Insulation followed by screed.
Question
My question is with the speed fit, if I...
Builder started digging footings yesterday and we have now found out my house is on piles (We had to go down 2.4m to find them)
We have grubbed out and old lean to that probably shouldn't have been there that was on a concrete base.
Had the quote in today nearly 14k (with concrete slab)...
