The back of the fridge is all sealed apart from the bottom where the compressor is. I presume you mean the fan actually inside the fridge ? If so, how do I get the cover off ?

We have a Hoover fridge/freezer thats 10 yrs old (large american style one). The last few weeks its been really noisy and now its making a "knocking" sound when the compressor seems to kick in. I activate the fast freeze and the knocking stops but then everything is too cold ! Is it the...
