WD40 worked, changing the valve was easy in the end. Had an airlock after but removed the shower head and sucked through the hose and everything is good. My wife went out for the day so I've let her think it was a much bigger job and I wasn't watching the cricket. :twisted: Thanks...

The tank is almost empty. When the arm is down the water drips through. Lots of limescale on the outside so I guess it could have clogged it up? I guess I'm going to take it off is it better to replace it rather than clean it Thanks for your help

Can't get any cold water from taps apart from the kitchen. Checked tank in the loft and the float moves up and down fine but no water enters the tank. So is it worth replacing the valve, most people on the internet either seem to have floats that don't move or the water doesn't cut out...
