God lads... this is great. So close I think now. You were spot on there guys, was still airlocked. All good now with WILO overheating. Last problem seems to be getting the pilot light on. Boiler light is on, but that's it. I tried turning the Stat on and off but pilot light doesn't seem...

OK so, after about 10 mins, to try and get the pilot going, I turned the boiler off and on again and it started... thought I was in, all lights on, overheat off!... but then after about a minute, it stopped and the overheat light came on again. The Wilo pump is now also very hot...almost too...

Thx ChrisR, some progress made alright using your help. The system has pressure again and I've bled the rad successfully. However, unfortunately still no heat. Having restored the pressure I turned the power back on to the WILO pump. It's making a throbbing noise, a bit louder than normal...

Thanks ChrisR. It's a sealed system, I'll see can I find that filling loop, hopefully that will sort it. My wife's starting to look at me funny, so i better get it sorted soon! Cheers, Alan
