happens with or without taps being used. i think it's the vent fan. it spirals on for 10-30 seconds every 8min or so. whether boiler is being used or not. preheat function is definitely off. so not that. not sure what could be causing the Dan to come on so often.

flame led doesn't turn on. so it isn't heating the water. so i don't think that is it. unless the preheat function doesn't light up the leds.
