usually due to high water pressure in the main fit a pressure refusing valve at 3 bar and you will have no more problems

just had the same prob usually it is the detector electrode that sags away from the gas stream but in my case it turned out to be a faulty solenoid you should be able to hear the solenoid open if you can hear it then the stats are probably ok then can you here the spark ? if so if no spark prob...

just like to say i feel vocera are the best allround boiler although i will admit vailant and viesman are also front runners

sounds like the pcb faulty i assume there is no spark if there is a spark it is possiblly the gas valve

i would sugest if it is now a sealed system that it is hydrogen try treating system with a good quality inhibitor

i agree with namsag but if the boiler is kettling try redusing the gas pressure to minimum probable cause though is boiler stat

you say the cold feed was partly blocked are you shure that the pipe it tees into is not also partialy blocked an indication of this is to try a magnet against it as the magnatite that causes the blockage is ferrous

about 15 ft i think the on board diagnostics are lying to me

yes all pressures are correct and h/exc is clear also water in system is spotless proved by color of pump impellor when changed

no i am not a parts changer if i get it wrong i stand the cost of parts all these parts were recomended changing by voceras help line i have never failed to repair A LINEA BUT THIS ONE is pushing me to the limit if i was a parts changer i would have gone bust a long time ago
