I have managed to obtain the circuit diagram for this cooker. There is a cut-out between the thermostat and the heaters. However this doesn't appear on the parts list!! All I have to do now is find the correct part. Thanks for all your help & comments.

Thanks for the advice. What is bemusing me is that whatever I try the fault remains.

It cools down completely. Increasing the temperature control does nothing, the heaters don't come back on. I did try setting the control at 100oC and it did appear to control at that temperature, but not at any higher temperature.

The thermostat and the controller we're replaced. It comes as a unit. I don't know anything about an over temperature control!!

The indicator light comes on when the oven is cooling down, but the heaters don't.

Thanks for replying. The cooker has 2 ovens, a fan oven & a non-fan oven. It is the non-fan oven that isn't working. I did think there may be a thermal cut-out somewhere. Where would it be & what does it look like?

The oven on my Cannon10456G cooker has a strange fault. It reaches the set temperature(say 160oC) but then cools down and doesn't control at the given temperature. The thermostat was replaced but this didn't cure the problem. The heaters were then replaced in case they were faulty, but the...
