    Leaking cistern

Yes it's dripping down from above that plastic bit above the flexi. I assume there is a nut up there? I thought there may just be a seal of some sort between it and the cistern. Either way, that's where its coming from...

    Leaking cistern

Hi there, Could someone please advise me on the following? There is a leak which seems to be coming from where the inlet pipe (it's like a flexible hose) connects to the toilet cistern. Is this an easy DIY thing for me to undertake? Also what is this part called? I assume it's the 'seal'...

Thanks Everyone. The tank in the attic is thankfully not above the bedroom and we spotted the problem pretty quickly. I've been up there and had a look about the tank and it all seems unaffected however I will get it checked out properly. Yes I did change the 'strap on' thermostat and didn't...

hot water coming out cold water taps

Hi, It's my first post here and I could really do with some advice. I have exactly the same problem with hot water coming out of my cold water taps. The water is also boiling in the tank in the loft. Reading the advice here I've changed the thermostat on the cylinder tank (and set the new...
