    Hi, I normally cut out the plaster with a stanley knife to the correct size of the switch then use a jigsaw to cut the laths. Then I fit a fast fix box. If thats not possible the other option is to cut a larger section out of the laths and then cut the plaster away about a couple of inchs more...

    i help but if you post in a matter of fact way like you did expect to get a ribbing for it. If you are a spark should no that run in plaster is different than run in thermal insul. Have a good weekend as well and take the ribbing like a spark should ,if you are one .
