I cant see any holes to attach this component.Can someone explain how it works as it looks as if the metal strip should be activated by an electromagnet to open or close a circuit via the micro switch?

Hi whereabouts on the base does it attach.I cant see any mounting screws or brackets?

I have an indesit IDL530 dish washer and it flooded the floor.When I looked underneath there is a circular plastic part with microswitch and long metal strip hanging down which looks like it should be attatched to the machine.Can anyone tell me where it should be fixed?
