Is the metal back of a GU10 bulb holder live?

Just double checked you're right! Thanks for this input, this might work out with them being a lot smaller.

Is the metal back of a GU10 bulb holder live?

Thanks for this advice, much appreciated - I've run 3 core, and terminated the earth into a wago at the device and the earth terminated onto the earth pole within the switch. Good idea on G9 bulbs these require a transformer right, something I won't have room for unfortunately. These are just...

Is the metal back of a GU10 bulb holder live?

Yeah thought as much, just tricky to drill that's all! They are GU10 bulb holders but they have a larger backing like the following: https://www.toolstation.com/spare-lampholder/p93364?store=S8 These have the black plastic surround, adds more height to the bulb. Another one with the metal...

Is the metal back of a GU10 bulb holder live?

Is the metal back of a GU10 bulb holder live?

The bulbs sit into a small cut out: Bulb properly sat into the wall mount not mounted: This is my situation at the moment, the bulb is visible and needs to sit lower, there are ways drilling behind which is proving difficult: Any ideas please let me know thanks

Is the metal back of a GU10 bulb holder live?

Hi all, I have a dilema, I have fitted some in the wall lights but they need smaller bulb holders, as small as possible - if you have other reccommendations please let me know. I'm looking at using GU10 mini bulbs and GU10 bulb holders, however these will be pushed into the wall therefore I...

Vertical radiator coming away from the wall

The bottom brackets will be holding all of the weight now, so be careful they're not also starting to come away from the wall. It might also be worth using some wood underneath at the same height as the brackets, just incase. I've hung a radiator like yours into a stud wall, mine also came away...

    LVT onto floating floor

Thanks Crazydaze, good info especailly about the primer if going down that route. Is there a reason ply is the selected type of wood here, assumption is that the self leveling compound adheres to it better? Would primer not be required here too? I'm still thinking even if I use the 6mm plywood...

    LVT onto floating floor

Thanks Dazlight, didn't know such tool existed, going to invest. New thoughts and would appreciate further feedback on the project. I've worked that if I 6mm ply the whole 22m2 (subfloor) and as dazlight pointed out screed 4-5mm ontop of this, I'd then need to screed 6mm + 4-5mm on the 24m2...

    LVT onto floating floor

Dazlight how would you measure say 4mm? Is it just done from the math, working out the amount required then flowing it around the room? Another random thought, how do you join up to say a carpet? Do you put some kind of wooden stopper for the next room to stop the screed flow and providing a...

    LVT onto floating floor

Any further thoughts on: - When cutting the 6mm ply is there an easier way than using a track saw, it's a full on effort to get the board propped when its so bendy. - Is feathering in required if I'm going to be adding a layer of 2mm screed over the top of this?
