Thanks for that. Unfortunately it isnt possible to remove the wood as it is woven in. I have washed it in the bath and (as I shall probably regret later) have bleached it. There is some improvement but it still ain't good

I have been very remise this year because of the awful weather my hammock which is natural coloured hessian has been left out to all weathers all summer. I am putting it away for the winter and it is covered in what appears to be black mould but I thought that only occured in unventilated...
