I'm building a treehouse and my floor has a slope for the rainwater as there will be decking around the 3/4 of the cabin area.
Slope is around 100:1 10mm in a metre.
I'm wondering how the slope will affect the build of the treehouse? should I remove the slope on the treehouse cabin by using...
I'm building a treehouse (or a shed/cabin within the trees as its not supported by the trees).
and my floor joists are at different angles.
Joists are treated 6x2.
I've already got 3 screws at the end 90mm x 5mm and 85mm x 6mm
(the hangers is an after thought, hence why i started with some...
thanks for the replies.
I tried ebay, no luck.
I tried Bathroom Spare Parts and National Shower Spares - they don't recognise the part.
a new shower door - might be too expensive. especially seen as it's a really old shower and cubicle.
I'm thinking of either using a makeshift plastic block...
I'm trying to repair a shower door but I don't know where to new fixings from.
The bottom one hinge side is broken so I guess I need one a bit like the top one.
Thanks
I'm repairing a gate post in the middle of a 6ft high panel fence.
The concrete on the hinged side of the gate was cracked and caused it to lean towards the gate which stopped the gate from opening.
The concrete post was 8ft and buried 2ft into the ground. the wooden gate is 6ft high, fairly...
If there's a carpet going on top with underlay, I'm not sure why I'd need anything else like an L section on top?
Thought I could just take the new piece of wood straight to the edge and round that off a bit?

it's an old house and taking out the existing staircase or treads are not an option. So can I just place a piece of hardwood or plywood straight on top of each existing tread.
There will be a carpet going on top with...
now I'm thinking after getting someone to install the drainage near the house, with the drainage channels a bit higher than I wanted - this can no longer be the lowest point as it would take more MOT 1 hardcore to raise the other end to a higher point. It could take another 6 tonne bags and £300...
Yeah I'm probably going to have to leave it as is now. I was mostly concerned that if there was a blockage and it started raining that foul water might spread on to the patio. Although there are 2 gullies so if one does get blocked the water should move along to the other one .
I posted a job on myBuilder for an export to sort the drainage out for a new patio because I didn't know what I was doing with the drainage, but this builder has sent rainwater from the drainage channels along the side of the house into the side inlets of the existing gully which also takes...
