    Skateboard ramp

^^ cool, I see what you mean, Have looked at Skatelite, seems great stuff, but not sure of availability in the UK and likely too expensive for a backyarder. Using plenty of screws keeps the surface buttoned down, and anything outdoors will deteriorate if not protected.

    Skateboard ramp

One thing we did for outdoor long lasting, was paint the ply both sides with used engine oil from recycling centre. NOT the top layer.

    Skateboard ramp

As a skater of 30 years plus , I highly recommend not using Masonite outdoors, it wont last the first rain. Once you have the templates and cross members in place, its body weight that will conform the ply to the curve. The idea is to surface with 2 or 3 layers of thinner ply.

TV picture freezes & sound distorts

Whilst reading up on the subject for my new house and extra TV install. It said the most common cause of the 2 second freeze on digi channels was people still having the old BROWN coax cable. And its low tolerence of interference from all kinds of sources in the evening. Basically not up to...

    Extending Loft Space

Just moved into a house which has been extended. The loft, however is quite small and only has access to its original dimensions. The brick and breezeblock are still at the far end of the loft. The guy I bought the house from said I could just knock through to the other side to gain access to...
