Bled the radiators as we thought that was why they were cold downstairs. We have looked at the pump, not exactly sure how freely the fan is supposed to spin, it moves when we flick it, but not freely, it meets with a little resistance then moves. Should it just spin with no effort at all...

Sorry, I also meant to say, we have bled all the radiators, no air just clean cold water. No part of the downstairs radiators get warm, just halfway down the pipes that come down the walls from upstairs.

I was hoping someone may be able to advise us please. We have a Baxi Bermuda boiler, last week the pilot light on the boiler started to go out for no apparent reason, it took ages to get it to relight. Then it started firing up and then stopping repeatedly. I turned the pilot light off so...
