Trying to help my daughter from a distance. Central heating system has zero pressure but there's no obvious tap on the boiler to add more water. There is a 90 degree connector with square head with cross head screw and 90 degree marks, does anyone know what this is? Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Kev. So I assume that as I'm just replacing the mixer tap with a new one that has exactly the same size fittings I can re-use the existing pipe fittings, the connector will re-seal ok?

Just about to fit a new mixer/shower tap onto a bath, the tap is suitable for 3/4 inch pipes but the installation is from a combi boiler and has 1/2 inch pipes. There must be some sort of adaptor at the connection? Do I need to buy some additional parts before stripping this down? Also about...
