So im looking to lay porcelain tiles....up until last week, this was covered by block paving. What is best way to proceed?

So i had a look under the "plates" that had been put down next to the inspection chamber and this is what i found...

Ok....until 4 days ago, this area had been block paved over for many years. If I lay a new patio over it will this be a concern?

Hopefully you can see both in the picture.

Ive no idea. Its in my back garden and there is another thats 3 feet away.

Hello, I'm laying down some tiles in my back garden. There are 2 inspection chambers that are close to each other and slightly angled compared to the house. When i dug around it to see if i could turn it slightly i noticed it has a plate coming off it. What could this be?

Me again... I tried to compact the type one mentioned in the initial post and it just didnt have anything to bind with and most of it is far more than 40mm. I threw some sand down from the top part of the garden but its still not going rock hard like im expecting. Luckily im still dealing with...

Im thinking of re-using the sand from underneath the block paving that ive just brought up. Im planning on throwing it over the MOT to fill in some voids...this should be ok shouldnt it?

Its a slightly sloped area 7m x 4m. I want to lay a small patio on a third of it and fake grass on the rest. I see i can membrane over the grano dust/sand for the artificial grass but didnt put anything under the mot for the patio area.

Haha i got some yesterday. I messed up in that i didnt put a membrane underneath it. I see on some youtube videos that some put one down and some dont. Can be confusing.

Yeah, hoping to rent one out next week...i really appreciate you getting back to me. It has been on my mind.. Would you order quarried again or would recycled be better? For the sake of £5 im happy to pay quarried if worth it.

Nice one...im probably going to need some more on top anyway once compacted so il try request finer if possible unless it doesnt matter.
