Just a thought, this timer will work for the boiler. As its a combo boiler, each time I want to use hot water I would have to manually flick the switch to on. I wanted a timer just for the central heating. Would the external timer be a better solution for this?
Thanks, under the boiler on the right hand side is a little plastic cover, that comes out and there is the wires for fitting the programmer, but no programmer. Will try and buy the programmer that attaches to the wire.
I have a gloworm boiler which has a dial type thermostat on the wall. Unfortunately it has no timer. I want to replace the existing dial with one that has a timer.
Ay ideas how this can be done?
