Thanks for that. Would this only be when the boiler on? As the banging happens in the night when it’s off. My tenant say the boiler has been off since yesterday yet the banging happened this morning followed by the cwst expelling water like this.

Im now told by my tenant that prior to this happening - there is a bumping/banging noise coming from the pipes around teh cupboard where the cylinder is.

F&E tank is next to the CWST water level in F&E well below level of CWST tank. No issues with the F&E outlet as always CW outlet that expels water - it runs like a hose pipe for around 20 mins randomly. I have 4 x mixer taps; Kitchen - NRV installed on hot side 3 x bathrooms - iso valves fitted...

I haven’t as it’s not mains fed so didn’t think it could push water up to the tank

Hi Folks. I have a property where at random times daily the cw tank expels water for a 15-20 mins from the pipe at the eaves. I felt warm (not hot) water feeding into the tank from the pipe that feeds the H/W cylinder. It didn’t have a lot of pressure but when I blocked it with my finger...
