To save any further confusion, my mistake:-
30 amp feed exists to kitchen
Intention is to install:-
2 x built in single fan assisted ovens which manufacturers state have a rating of 2.9KW each.
1 x electric ceramic hob which the manufacturers state has a rating of 2.2KW.
Sorry for not responding earlier, got tied up on something.
Both the cookers and 'Electric' hob collectively do exceed 10kw overall.
Ovens are 2.9kw each and Electric Hob is 2.2kw. Cooker installation instruction say connect to a 13amp switched fused connection.
Is it better to wire the two ovens with separate 13amp fused spurs on the extended ring main and wire the hob from the dedicated 45amp feed or would it be ok to wire the 45amp feed from the cooker switch to a 60amp junction box and then spur two separate 13amp fused feeds for the ovens as well...

Many thanks. Not a big house and total wattage for all lights on this circuit is approx 800watts, if all on at once. I believe that max is for any one circuit is the rquivilant to 11 x 100watts lights, if I have read this correctly?
Thanks - Although have done many DIY wiring jobs in the past, I think I will get a sparks to come and do it to be sure after the event of the new regs etc.
As for the downlighters, she that must be obeyed wants them and if I thought they were hidious, I would have been brave enough and...
Can anyone help please I have an existing 1.0mm lighting circuit in kitchen and am adding some 50watt downlighters. Two questions:
1. The new lights say use 1.0mm cable only. Would there be a problem using 1.5mm?
2. To do the above I have to extend the circuit - I already have 1.5mm...
