I know this is likely too late to help you fithawk but may help others. One problem with conservatory roof leaks is that the evidence does not always appear in the spot where the problem is. It travels and can be very misleading.
If the roof panels/units do not appear to have slipped down and...

There are a couple of approaches for retro fitting dry verges that I'm aware of. One involves removing the verge tiles and extending the roof battens and/or use of clips. The verge is then fitted to these. Alternatively a batten could be fitted along the gable wall and this used to secure the...
Dry verges are fairly easy to fit and inexpensive too. You can buy some on eBay for very little, including top brands like Klober. Just search eBay for "klober dry verge". Some of the sellers are in the industry too and so can offer advice if required.

It does indeed look like an older version of an Aztec AZ924 conservatory gutter bracket.
The body on the newer version is filled in and the bracket arm has a kind of fin. You can buy them on eBay by searching for "Aztec AZ924". The listing provides the dimensions to check.
Good luck.

Thanks this was really useful. I contacted Truly Conservatory Repairs who were very helpful and offered some good advice. I bought over the phone too, so my Wendland RS32790 brackets may be with me tomorrow! A job for the weekend!
Thanks again :D
