I'm dim, but what is an average return temp?

Have inherited boiler in new house. Runs central heating brilliantly. Runs at 1 bar and just above. However, it will not give enough :? hot water for a bath. Just runs tepid. Hot water comes thru other sink taps. Even if I select Water only ( no Rads) the boiler shuts off. What should I do...
