use diamond core i use 150mm core to allow for fitting if is is going to directed down, and also gives a 15-20mm fill around the pipe or fitting for a professional look
Get a rothemburger superfire 2 and swear by the, used a turbo torch with plastic casing ( Crap once u drop it a few times ) but great all the time it is working,
never use the idea of mixing hot water from your cylinder with your mains water, either use one or the other and not both as people have recomended (CHRIS)
