Thanks for the swift reply Yes the light stays on all the time. I have now swopped over the live ffed wires and are testing to see if the heater is off and then will test if heater comes on

Hello I have just moved into a flat and the switch for the immersion heater light is on when the heater is off. Is this correct or should the light be off until I switch on? Thanks Bill T
