not fixing it back to the wall (there are no holes in the cistern to allow this) using a rubber foam donut latest development is that the bathroom supplier is sending me a complete new pan cistern and flush unit (i have paid for it but they will refund when i take the original leaky one...

hi my thoughts exactly.......i am wondering if there is a fault with the actualf form of the ceramic of either the toilet or the cistern as you say the seal should do the job

thanks for the reply mate i have put silicone on the tp of the donut but not on the bottom of the cone , i will try that in the morning. out of interest how tight should i tighten the bolts holding the cistern to the pan........can i over tighten them?

i have fitted a new toilet and i can not stop it leaking from between the cistern to the pan when flushed! i have fitted another new doughnut (oem) and it still leaks about a teaspoon full of water directly out of the back of the joint between the cistern and the pan????????? what am i doing...

whoopie doo....... just disconnected the solanoid and we are now on lockout. next question mate were is the coil!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for you speady response we have been freeezin since xmas eve!

hi all we have a worcester danesmore oil boiler 15 years been brilliant untill christmas eve......... she will post purge fine then as she goes into the start up sequnce she runs right up to the ignition point( i think ) then the rcd trips. struggling to find a local guy to come out untill...

thanks oilman when i got up this morning the heating was on fine? what can be happening to the valve to make it work intermitantly .....any ideas?

hi chaps any ideas on this one please i am stumped! boiler runs fine on HW function no issues. on the CH there is an issue......... comes on fine from cold on timer after i while ( not sure yet as to how long but the rads are hot) it goes off. thought it was the thermostat turning it off...
