It can happen but after only two years You'd like to hope it hadnt, but these plastic venturis become so brittle from heat damage that they can just disintegrate in your hand into nany pieces. Id consult my manufacturers instructions or download it if its lost and check what the error code...

Certainly not good to use the boiler with the cover off as poc's can enter the room, but the boiler can be fired by an engineer with the cover off for various reasons and fault finding procedures

sorry for my late reply i was away for the weekend there. i have no room stat fitted. my pump connections are 28mm. i have turned my pump down to mid setting and my rads all seem to be heating, i timed the cycle once earlier it fired for 1 minute exactly to bring up to temp, then remained off...

the vent and feed go into coil at another cylinder on far end of house. the aga heats that cylinder so the ch coil has a valve closed to stop it circulating that coil, it still circulates the unvented though.

cheers for your reply ill try toning the nozzle down. circulation seems to be good, and i balanced down the rads at the end of the house the boiler is on. i just dont know how its losing heat so quick to need to reignite. do you think this is very unefficient? or will it just waste a small...
