andy, so if i change the fuse in my fuse box to a mcb with a trip switch i can go ahead,so you think 30amp trip? cheers

yes the 3 meters is in the kitchen, so the 30 amp fuse i pulled out of the fuse box, could i put a lower rated piece of fuse wire on it say 15 amp fuse wire, or does it just not work like that? thanks for your help Andy

Andy, i have just found a mcb pic, it is just like a switch, would i just conect the old cooker wire to this, then could i run a cable of about 3 meters, with 2 double plugs sockets on? cheers

just removed the fuse from the fuse box, actually it says 30amps...does that make any difference?

i am looking to remove the 45amp socket from my kitchen, we have gas, what do i need to run 2/3 13aamp double sockets from this 45amp cable??
