Hi there
The problem with a non thermostatic shower is that differences in water pressure (caused by someone using cold water elsewhere in the property) might result in fluctuations in temperature and scalding. It's ok if you are an adult and can quickly adjust the temperature but not so good...
Hi there
I am laying vinyl sheet flooring in my bathroom. I have taken away the old ceramic tiles and there is a layer of plywood covering the floor. I was wondering if it is ok to use combi lay underlay under the vinyl even though it is meant for laminate flooring. I just want to make the...
Thanks very much for the replies. I think the water comes straight into the kitchen and a branch comes off to feed our upstairs neighbours system.

The piping in my house is all copper except for some lead piping which is under the concrete kitchen floor. I would like to get rid of this as the water flows through it on the way into the house. What can I do- does the concrete floor need to come up or is there a more simple...

Thanks

Hi there
My flat has an asbestos roof that will probably need replaced in the next few years. Will I need special contractors and will it be very expensive?
Thanks

Hi there

Thanks
