    it literally had a service a week before we removed it from the previous house, so perhaps it needs FIL to come in and have a look see. The flue is brand new, from the ceiling upwards is twinwall k vent

    indeed you are correct....that's 'he with the selective hearing' installed it :) tbh his father is a central heating engineer/plumber and himself is pretty handy around the house. should I be calling in the cavelery or is it something that dh can sort out with a bit of tweaking?

    it was working properly to the best of my knowledge in its previous home. dh installed it himself and this is only the second time I have used it.

    Having just installed our rayburn I am finding that it doesnt seem to be reaching temp. its a 400K pressure jet and despite the fact that turning the dial to 7 should mean 200C its more like 110C. Any advice on this?
