No, I dont prefer their advice, I thought this was an inclusive forum with vaillant engineers on it You seemed of pinpointed my problem straight away \Tony and I was just pointing out what vaillant could of charged me and it still would of been crook - so youve saved me lots of dosh already...

Just called vaillant to confrim 260 inc vat not plus or 25 per month for 12 months all parts and labor which is reasonable except the HE is not covered which might be a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the advise I just phoned vaillant and explained the problem and said that I had been advised that a HE was probably blocked and they said no! if its running hot then cold its a doggey divertor valve about 260 plus VAT? now im confused

oK Just checked loop and its not open so does this meean a new HE unit then Thanks
