hi wix, did your "cover walkway" have sides or was is just a roof?

Hi i'm applying for planning on my house, its in green belt so im aloud 40% increase. how ever i have a garage which is attatched to the house by a covered walk way about 1m wide. I know a detached out building is not included in the origional size but as this it attatch will it be included?
