cheers for that -I will try a new battery and replacement fuse.

When the pad was removed I did think it was strange the tamper alarm did not go off -do you think the problem could be with the battery? Would this stop the 'day/power on' light from not being lit on initial switch on? Do you think it still think the problem is the fuse?

I have an Accenta 6 house alarm with a Accenta 8EP416 key pad. I changed the key pad to Accenta 8EP416+. The key pad will not power up i.e. no green power switch light. I change back to the original key pad and that also will not power up. Any ideas? thanks
