yeh the backup battery is in the first photo in the main unit, just cut off at the bottom sorry. Once ill get a set of ladders ill share a photo. If there is anything I should check please let me know

ok no worries - ill work on that. are there any specific steps to take during changing out the backup battery that I might have missed? Do I need to reset anything or do anything in a particular order?

Thanks for replying - unfortunately I cannot access the bell box, dont have a ladder! Here's a photo of it from outside anyway for what it's worth. System works fine if I leave the red + bell cable out. I can set/unset and the keypad works .

hi Our Accenta g4 system has been flawless for years. Last night our external bell started to sound. System was unset. No idea what triggered it. Only way to stop it was remove red cable from the circuit board to the bell. Figured battery needed changed. Did that today, connected everything...
