I have already replaced the flow switch once and all you have to remove is the front chamber cover then undo the pipe union and lock nut It's a bit fiddly but no need to remove the burner or anything else.

OK, I upped the pressure slightly, and to my delight the boiler fired up when I turned on the hot water tap........Unfortunately my joy was short lived because when I turned the tap off the boiler did not shut down, not good, turned water back on and off again but no joy stuck solid. Shut...

I currently have only occasional Hot water from my Swiftflow 100 boiler i.e every now and then it will work. I have bypassed the DHW Flow switch with the water flowing and the boiler fires up no problem. I therefore assume the problem is with the DHW Flow switch although the water pressure...

One last question, can I remove the reed switch without isolating the water supply? Thanks Again

Thanks Nickso, Now I'm concerned :x the rattling I mentioned sounds like somthing metallic in the pipe around the flow switch, could this indeed be the magnety bit you mention. I assume the magnet comes with the complete flow switch? Thanks Again

I have a SwiftFlow 100 and as Micky says the fan runs constantly to vent the pilot and as a result will probably fail at some point costing over £120 to replace.. No I'm not bitter :twisted:

Thanks Mick but to add to my previous post the pressure does not increase whilst the boiler is off, the pressure only increases whilt the boiler is running. I assume if it was the fill loop the pressure would rise consistantly boiler on or off? Yesterday morning pressure was at .5bar this was...
