Goes red then stops, switch off at its mains switch and back on again runs ok again. Had the Brush Bar out and that other roller, nothing obvious. Tried running with with out them both in situ, same result. Is the Brush motor a 12 volt type ? Thought about testing it on a 12 V supply.

Daughters vacuum cleaner is a Shark, model PZ 100 UK, the brush Roller is intermittent, cleaned and checked for debris etc, nothing found. Its very intermittent, I suspect the connection pins between the floor Brush and roller were it connects to the rest of the machine. Is this a common fault...

I have had a look, discs on the back, I thought they would be Drums ? Discs look very corroded ?

Advise about the brakes on a 51 plate Ford Focus, previous elderly owner averaged millage was about 300 miles a year, it`s only done 45 miles between the last two MOT`s. Current MOT was done in December. Brakes are a bit `spongy` but do stop it. Could this be lack of use ? Advise please.

I intend to look at with a view to buy, a clean low millage 2013 Fiat Punto van, it has the 1.3 Multi jet engine. Any common issues to look for on the Engine ? Has it a cam belt or chain ?
