    yes i have fiber glass under ther floor boards in the loft .....but i thought if i don't put anything in between the rafters won't it be really hot in the summer and cold in winter/night time etc

    boarded out loft now looking to board rafters , i understand i need some insulation up there , but i have found i am very allergic to fiber glass while boarding joists and not sure i want to buy that silver blanket stuff a staple gun and then batons which i can't screw in and will lose some head...

    house is just in a normal street in a town one patch it is on a chimney breast but another it is just a dividing wall....it has been injected at least twice before ........ i have concrete floors so can't do it below floor joist level ...........i also heard something about blue bricks ...

    please don't laugh ...i am trying to cure a problem on cheap i keep getting patches of damp...the damp course is gauranteed but all they doo is come back chip of plaster /rendering paint some thing on bricks go away come back 6 weeks later and render and plaster ....then 3 months later it...

    Brick Salt!!!!!!!

    I have a terrace house and it has had problems with damp, the damp course has been patched up under gaurantee many times.....but now the damp has subsided salt is coming through......little hand held machines have been held to wall and show no damp, so how do i stop the salt coming out the brick...
