Want to extend the patio over ground where conifers live

Hi all I have some conifers at the end of my garden which I'd like to remove as I'd like to extend the patio. Would it be possible to chainsaw these down to ground level, then put some concrete slabs over the top? I'd like to extend so I can put my shed further back. Thanks for your help

    Electric shower not working..

Okay thanks all - I will get my father in law to check the isolator switch as this may be the problem. He used to be an electrician so best for him to do it rather than me!

    Electric shower not working..

I mean when I press the button on the shower unit to turn it on, the light on the isolator switch (pull cord switch) goes out. I am not at home at the moment for photos, I will show later.

    Electric shower not working..

Yeah, I mean the actual shower. The isolator switch is just a pull cord which then gives the power to the shower. It's once I press the button to turn the actual shower on that it trips the isolator switch.

    Electric shower not working..

Yes that's what I mean sorry, I think the fuse might have gone in the shower unit? When I turn on the shower it trips the isolator switch.
