Hi all, I’m looking to take out 2 bedroom door casings in a 1900’s terraced house, my concern is, will any bricks fall from above the casing. Just worried that the top of the frame is supporting the bricks above. Thanks in advance.

Aerator on hot tap on the sink has a build up of the Black substance, it's not a rubbery texture though, flexi pipe on sink is not that old. Really is a strange one this.

It's in the bath as well as the sink.

Deposit feels like grit though, not rubber based.

What puzzles me is its not coming through the Hot tap on the kitchen sink. Heater is less than 12 months old.

Was thinking about damp if I used a Gypsum based product.

Certainly not mould, it’s like a hard grit.
