Thanks, the alternators was one thought, the other was, did they fit the right battery? I'm far from a car expert, but thinking back, it never used to do this, they put a new battery in, and suddenly it does... They've called to say they did something to the ECU, but seemed very non committal...

Morning, I have a 2 year old Mazda 6 Tamura which had a battery failure on it end of Aug. Mazda replaced it under warranty saying it was just a bad battery, no other faults. Since then however, there is noticable issues with power, main one being, headlights dim considerably when another load...

Above has all gone great, hall way all OK, but just done the living room and the plaster has a few ridges and trowel marks etc. Whats best for filling these, should i sand down the ridges?

Hi All, i never knew it could this complicated, so many types of paint... i've just had living room and hall way ceilings replastered, and from reading old posts etc, i think this is the way forward use Dulux trade supermatt 1st coat: mistcoat @ 25% 2nd coat: mistcoat @ 10% 3rd coat...

can i use the breathe less as a defense for choking the misses? the problem is just on this one wall in the bedroom; i'll try leaving the door open of a night, i really don't fancy leaving the window open, its a bit nippy out there at the mo. i'll give the foam insulated wall paper a go...

Moved into a new house in July and about 3 weeks ago noticed the wallpaper was wet and mold on our bedroom wall underneath the window. At first thought it may be damp coming through from outside, so stripped the wall paper off, treated the mold, and painted on a damp proof paint to stop it...
