Yes the first light that I think is the power one is on and the second which I think is the WiFi is flashing. I’m almost sure this is what has always been on but the smart com and panel are hidden in a cupboard that I don’t go in very often.
It was showing com 1 not used (as I was using this for the connection) com 2 as com ip and com 3 as gsm. Then after I had disconnected I changed this to smart com.
My plan tomorrow is to connect using a guest network on the broadband to rule this out.
So I’ve got an update.
I managed to connect via wintex and not sure how but the gsm module is now back up and running. By doing this I’ve proved that I haven’t fried the com ports.
Still no joy with smart com. Really lost on this.
Check all of that it’s all correct.
It’s almost as if there’s a global setting been set for coms to be off that u have somehow turned off.
I’ve also checked all of the arc profiles - several are set as sms and one is set as smart com / I’ve tried deselecting this and then putting it back in...
The smart com is on com 1/2 the gsm unit is on com3
It’s the texecom premier elite 168.
I tried to connect via a cable from the laptop to com1.
I also did a reboot on the hub etc to refresh the ip addresses etc.
I have checked on the panel and com 1 is smart com / 2 is com ip and 3 is gsm...

So originally I had a virgin sim which was piggybacked off ee and it worked fine, virgin then sent me a new sim that was piggybacked of Vodafone and that’s when the issues appeared to start.
I changed to gifgaf - which is off o2 and it worked ok for a few weeks but then has started playing up...
Hi wondering if someone can help? I have a Texecom premier alarm and keep getting a com fault on com 3 (gsm) and first I thought this was down to mobile phone signal dropping so changed the sim to a different provider.
I still get the fault coming through on the panel every few days but the...
Yes it is. That’s what I want it to do. I was thinking of setting it up area area c as a is the house and b is the garage.
If there’s someone outside I don’t necessarily want the whole house awake until I’ve checked it out myself if that makes sense.
we’ve had a bit of petty crime in the...
