Thanks for the reply I will lift the floorboards and make join there with new cable then move the socket up to were I need it. :lol:

Fitting a new kitchen and ring main. I need to remove a double socket. Its feed from the fuse box from under the floor and goes up the wall to the bedrooms Can I join the cables together and then bury them behind the plaster if so what connections do I use :shock:
