    Shower Pump Problem

Hi I've got a hot water tank with a pump that supplies a mixure shower. The system did work properly at one point but has gradually got worse whereby the pump started to cut in and out during the shower and now doesn't kick in at all when using the shower with water coming from overhead...

    Visonic Powermax Low Battery

Hi I have a visonic powermax which is reporting Z03 low battery - living room and makes an audible beep every few minutes during the day time. I've replaced the battery in the sensor but it still keeps happening. I've also swapped the battery from a known working sensor into the living room...

    Swapping Honeywell Thermostat

I thought the wiring colours were slightly off. Am I right in thinking that current set up is 1 - live - (green/yellow) 2 - neutral - (blue) 3 - switched live - (brown) meaning it should be Green/Yellow to A and Brown to B? I'll have to double check the other end

    Widening Chimney Breast

Many thanks for replies. I am not 100% about the flue arrangements - it would be off centre but not drastically closer to one side. I believe the exisint concrete floor was considered strong enough to support the load. Do you think this would not be the case? My biggest worry initially...

    Widening Chimney Breast

Hi I have read many threads on this forum about widening the opening to a chimney breast and understand that in most cases it is relatively easy assuming you have a lintel installed correctly. In my case however my chimney breast is fairly narrow - only about 2ft across internally. I have...
