the programmer switch is a potterton ep 2002, gas boiler is a myson marathon 400b and problem has been going on for months but now warmer weather is here don't want rads on whilst h water is on!

Hi, my radiators come on every time i put my hot water on, why is this happening? The programmer switch shows that the central heating is off and hot water is on but radiators are coming on too! help! dont know whether the problem lies with switch or something else.
