    tried it, but no luck put both red into squiggle and both black (with red bits) into L1 - both lights just stayed on, flicking the switch made no difference. then tried both switch wires into L1 and 1 live into squiggle - one light stayed on, the other was contolled by the switch..

    just to confirm, before i do it in the morning: both red wires into squiggle both black wires (with red sleeve) into L1 is that correct?

    hmm - taken a look - getting a cable from light 1 to 2 doesn't look like an option. would light 1 and 2 already be linked?
