    House structural survey defects in roof

    we have just had our structural survey back and the surveyor has pointed out that - " on inspection of the attic it was noted that NO roof purlin or supporting studs were fitted. This could be resulting in cracking to the walls below and could also be resulting in excessive spread of the roof"...
