Ok thanks for that is it not worth putting a new drain pump on?, I have taken the front cover off and removed the kick plate at the bottom and that seems to give me just enough access.

Where is this located, I have been told by another person e23 could be the pump?

Hi there Im having a problem with our bosch exxcel dishwasher (sms63e09gb/07) I am getting an error code 23 , does anyone know what this is? Im quite a competent person to be able to fix as im a industrial electrician but without the code I dont know where to start. Thankyou in advance Carl
